Estepona area
Estepona and the surrounding areas have so much to offer, you will want to return time and time again.
There are so many wonderful things to do in and around Estepona.
It’s not just about the beaches. If you drive for five to ten minutes inland you will find yourself in another type of paradise.
If you want to go for a hike, we advise you to download the Wikiloc App. There you will find trails in the area and you can choose from distance, level of difficulty and hike type – whether its linear or circular and find yourself among incredible scenery.
If hiking isn’t for you – you can enjoy walk along the paseo and stop for a coffee, or a wine and tapa at the many cafes and restaurants. The paseo runs the whole length of Estepona (a few sections out of town are still being completed) and soon it will run the whole way to Marbella and beyond.
More things to do in Estepona
Alternatively you can hire a bicycle, electric scooter or Segway at one of two great rental places – Costa Bike just opposite the main paseo very near to our Darya Apartment or Eco & Bike which is off Calle Terraza in the old town.
A little too tame? Then maybe an off road buggy ride in the countryside may tempt you. There are a couple of companies who run this in the area, perfect if you love an adrenaline rush, don’t mind getting all dusty and you want get to see Estepona from a whole new viewpoint.
If this isn’t adventurous enough then how about canyoning in a local river or abseiling under the bridge in Ronda (which is only an hour & a quarter away). We have companies who arrange this for you, just let us know at the time of booking so we can check availability.
